Talking We have goos and fiesty ones at that!

For any of you that dont know the goo storey its here Please report this ebay listing and here B3rnie

So i went and got them at 8 expecting to meet some man and it was a young teenage boy!! He had saved his money to get them and believed pets at homes crappy advice on them so i did feel a bit bad. I had to go into his room to get them which was a bit weird too.

The goos are def boys, one was giving himself some pleasure ahem when i went to have a look at them. Im not sure on age but they arent fully grown yet and they are extremely lively, alot more than my 2 thats for sure. I took a critter 1 to pick them up in and so far have been unable to transfer them to a bigger cage so ive just had to set them up in that for tonight. One already made an escape when i was putting a nest box in, luckily i lured him back with pasta. Tommorrow ill take the cages into the bathroom so they cant go anywhere. I managed to get a wheel in (unfortunatly yes its plastic) and have scatter fed them. Im hoping b3rnie your still ok to have them as i know you were hoping for girls?? If not i could try bond them to my boys but im unsure if my cage is ok for 4 and i have zero experience in bonding goos.

Heres some pics of the cuties

There is space behind the nest box too as ive been unable to move it backwards, they know the whole lid opens up and try to jump out. The kid had to padlock the door on his cage as they could push it open

My OH is also laughing at me too as the kid has txt me several times since i got in and has even asked if i have a partner!!!

They are definatly interesting pets, i got mine from a friend that didnt want them anymore and put them up on facebook for anyone. I knew nothing about them so spent a whole evening on degutopia and took them in I was lucky too that she had got them from a breeder who had handled them regularly so they are fantasticaly tame and come to you when you tap or make certain noises and if you whilstle they stand still

As for mouse man mad: words fail me!

Haha well i havnt replied to his last 2 txts so hopefully he has the msg now!

And they are gorgeous . They have longer tails and bigger ears than mine but im assuming thats because they arent fully grown yet and havnt 'grown' into them if that makes sense

Are you 100% certain they are boy's hun as girls "pleasure" themselves too

Either way they can still come here, I will just have an excuse to buy a new cage for them

Re: We have goos and fiesty ones at that!

Im pretty sure they are boys they have long um things that they expose Do girls do that too? In which case that has confused me but they do have a gap between bits and girls are closer i think.

And Yay im happy they can go to you You will definatly have fun, ive let them have a sniff and a wander over my hand this morning as they are calmer and ive not been nipped, the kid told me they are bitey but i think he was confusing that with friendly nibbles

In other news the baby rats are up and about now i got some pics yesterday I also think they are all boys!! But im probably wrong, they are quite wriggly so i cant get long looks. I had pics up on the computer of baby rats and was trying to hold them up to compare
