2 new galvanised explorer trays

they weren't happy with the flimsy shallow plastic trays so they have been out earning they pay to buy a top tray cut out and the bottom tray.
its cost them ermmm me £88 thats postage included on that.

I caught my ratties trying to order them the other day! They got smacked little paws and were told to wait until after Xmas.

Ahh man i am so jelous that you both have explorers to even order trays for!! Ive been looking for a 2nd hand one for agessss. I won a furet tower on ebay today but its just not the same lol

Keep your eye out u never know wen one will pop up on eBay.
Check fancy rats Market section too as they have some for sale at times.
I bough mine brand new for £175 petworlddirect couple wks ago and I love it.

I check ebay most days and gumtree etc but will look on fancy rats too thanks. I could stretch and buy a new one but i think because i dont 'need' one i um and ah to much.

If i eventually do find one i would be using the 2 halves seperatly and buy the tray for the bottom to fit in the top thus blocking it off (i assume that would work). Do you happen to know how many rats would fit in each half comfortably?

I'm officially jealous, been eyeballing these for a while now. Thing is, if I buy trays for the Explorer & SRS it means I won't have any spare cash for hammocks & toys for a while, which means the poor rats will not be getting anything for Christmas & probably Easter either.
To buy them or not to buy them.............. that is the question

Yes that would work.

I think it's 12 rats but if u use the space wisely I'd say 17 rats. I have 10 atm soon to be 14 in mine but they all stay at the top of explorer.
