I am currently on the hunt for 2 young male rats to be friends with Spook, so I have been stalking all the online free ads I can find. Well first I find an ad for a 7 month old boy free to good home because the guys son is allergic to the shavings the rat is kept on . Well rats shouldn't be kept on shavings anyway but even for someone who didn't know that you would still have thought they would change sub straight for the sake of their sons health. Next I found an ad for a litter free to good home. Looking at the ad it sounds like a purposely bred litter . Soooo angry right now!!!

It is so infuriating. I wonder what it is with rat people...even "pet" owners just don't seem to give a damn...yet rats are such wonderful pets!!! NOT that I am condoning mistreating not so wonderful pets!! But rats are so rewarding if given a chance!!

I don't blame you for being angry It seems to be more and more people are taking the attitude that pets are things to get rid of when you are bored And it isn't just rats - I saw in the "Daily Telegraph" that they have an article about pet insurance scams. They have discovered that some people are intentionally killing their "beloved pets" for the insurance payout I wish there were laws to stop people getting pets without having sat numerous exams and having regular checks throughout the time they have any pets and wish that there was a death sentence for anyone who hurts an animal
