Another horrendous free Rat advert

Hi,

Just came across this:

Free Rat to the right person in East London, London | Small Furries for Sale | Gumtree.com

Single female rat been on her own for the last 7 months. Owner wants to give her and all her equipement away for free. Rat is based in East London.

The advert was posted 8 days ago. It could be she's already been taken.

I have no experience of rats, but I know this is wrong.

Is there anyone in London who can help?

Oh my word you are right - 4 years old! That's awful.

I could probably get her, but as I have no experience of rats and don't have any other rats, or even space really for a cage - I could only really take her to bring to someone else.

On the other hand - I'm driving London to Manchester at the weekend.

Anyone on route? I will respond to the advert and see if this little girl is still available.

Re: Another horrendous free Rat advert

What a horrible ad . Ads like that are the reason ive ended up with so many rats, im right near East London too. 4 years is really old for a rat aswell. It has been up for 8 days now so she may have a home - i just hope its a good one if she does.

Re: Another horrendous free Rat advert

well I would say she probably isn't 4 but even if she has 'forgotten' when she bought her by a year then that's 3 years old and still a very good age but why lie if she isn't 4 as it doesn't help home her by making her older
