Guinea and UTI
I have a 3yr female piggy. On wednesday we noticed blood coming from the vaginal opening. Rushed her to the vets where she had a thorough exam. He couldnt feel any discernable lumps and on pressining the stomach there was no pain but pressing on the bladder there was. Being not so certain as to what it was but thinking it was an uti she was given an anti-inflammatory injection and prescribed .4ml baytril twice a day. We have noticed today that when she pees the wee isnt pink she tends to spot blood afterwards. Any ideas on this, could it still be a uti, she's very active so I'm kind of ruling out pyrometra and keeping my fingers crossed its not a tumour. I lost a little girl to this 2yrs ago. Out of interest she isn't wheeking or complaining when passing poo or wee. Thanks.
