Ah I'm a worrier too. I bonded my lot in a large storage bin (obv kept the lid off) and I lugged it EVERYWHERE with me for days, I didn't want to leave them alone in case anything happened!

It really does sound like your big mice are trying to be mummies to the little uns which is great. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well.

I decided to give them some of their toys back as they were bored chasing eachother around, This seems to have helped. Theirs still the whole getting used to and bonding them and the humping. But they seem to enjoy exploring with eachother. Bino and Pickle went on the wheel together for about 1 minute. Hopefully a bit of time and patience and it will all be good. I've literally glued myself to the tank lol. Stopped once for a food break
