Stressed Rat?

Just over a week ago, I lost one of my rats. I'm still very upset over it, but another one is starting to worry me now. Taylor died after she had an operation to clear an absess in her ear, I don't know why she died.
Anyway, Remy is my dominat rat but I've noticed when Taylor was split up from them, she started ripping the fur off one of her arms. It wasn't so bad at first, but since Tayor died, Remy has ripped all the fur off both arms and her legs.
How do I make my ratty happy again. Her sister is acting out as well, demanding to be out playing with me constantly, she managed to break the door of her home by banging and shaking it loose. I've been letting them loose around the house a lot more and I've been giving them a lot more attention, but it just doesn't seem to be working. They just don't seem to like being on their own.

Any advice would be great. They are my first rats and I don't like seeing them like this.

Re: Stressed Rat?

Hi sorry to hear the loss of your ratties.
I was thinking could u get 2 same sex baby rats and intro to your girls?
This way it should take there mind off the upset and they'll have 2 newbies to play n groom with?
