all animals can get ring worm =/ and yes i have seen it in rats
silly vet

has the mite treatment made any difference?

For the siamese yes the redness has gone, but the other boy looks the same

She clearly wasnt a ratty person as she said 'i bet your house smells like rats,' i mean who says that, she dosnt know my house! I simply told her i clean my rats out thanks

I think im so used to people just assuming that of me i shrug it off although not the kind of thing i would expect from a vet!

That was really rude of her, I would have complained!
Not alot of vets seem to know much about small animals.
The last vets I was at, the guy refused to even touch my hamster when I took him in (this was years ago) and anytime I took my bunnies he wouldn't touch them either. He was a bad vet so I had to change to another practice where they actually handle my pets and look after them properly!
