Talking New Mice

Didn't really plan on it but i went to my local pet shop today and ended up buying 2 little cuties. Both female only tiny and ones pure white, the other white and gray! I originally i went in for mouse and chipmunk food but they were too cute not to buy them. I didn't just go to a pet shop and buy them, i have been looking at rescues for about a week and there was none. The pet shop i bought them from doesn't get her stock from battery farms, she gets them directly from the breeder and never has the same stock in constantly. As i said she buys them from proper breeders. Anyway no pictures today as i've been busy will post some tomorrow

Re: New Mice

You actually managed to find a pet shop in Scotland that has mice that I don't know about!!! Where?!?!?! There are only 2 that I know of in Scotland that sell mice and both breed their own. As for rescues in Scotland they nearly never get mice The SSPCA have 1 girl just now in Glasgow and she's been there since the start of the year I am very tempted to try and get her but the group I would put her in with has some one who isn't very well at the moment Seriously though, congrats on the new additions Can't wait for piccies

Re: New Mice

Thanks, i got my first set of mice there too but they were a lot older. I tried everywhere in Edinburgh to get them and i found A1 Pets, Edinburgh Leith, they have quite a lot in at the moment. I saw Celia on the SSPCA website, too was going to take her until i realised she was way through Glasgow. My 2 are quite friendly especially the white one, she came and sat on my shoulder and has been eating like a horse, good luck with finding some mice, if you want ill give you the address to the pet shop?
