Rat Cage Trouble

Hi guys, well i have decided i am going to get rats!
I am so excited to get them and am propably going to get about 3-4 girls, as the boys testicles freak me out (even though i want a cuddly rat) i feel i should get girls..is that wise?
Anyways i am stuck on what cage to get them as i want to get a good quality cage but not something too expensive but something that will last , is quite big and will keep them in safely
I was dissapointed as i learnt it was very rare to find a critter nation (single level) in the UK and shipping costs are too expensive from US, unless any of you experts know where to get it for a good price?
But i want to go along the same route of the big open door cages (I like the explorer, or the Xtrail Rodent Cagebut i cant find them for any cheaper than £169 online, even though i have heard of people getting themfor £120/£140 , do any of you know where you can get them ?! And is the Liberta Abode any good, because i heard rats can escape from it?)
Finally have any of you got any tips on keeping rats that would help me in the future as im only a teen
sorry about all the questions but any help would be MUCH appreciated (see im new to all this
THANKS GUYS!!!
