3 rats has just gone to 5!!!!
i took one on yesterday he is 8 weeks old and from a feeder breeder and pet shop breeder.
today he rang to say do i want the other 8 week old so of course i had to say yes.
they were ad on reptile forum and he only lives down the road from me.

the first one is already in with the older boys and today i will intro the other one to the group i can't see there being any problems so he should be able to go straight into the parrot cage with others.

its really helping me take my mind off queenie at the minute,giving me something to do.

so from 2 then to 3 then to 4 now to 5 and thats it as my cage can only hold 6 rats so 5 is plenty.
thing is my hubby doesn't know about this one coming today then again he may not notice as there both black hoodeds.

This is how I've ended up with 10 rats! (13 at one point). I've had to tell myself to stop now though, it's so easy to get out of your depth >.<

I've been threatened with divorce if I get anymore.
Besides I only have the one cage and 5 is my max as the rat calculator says 6 for this but I feel 5 is comfy.
So I have two 8 weeks old two 5 months and one at 1yrs old.

Someone is coming to see my foster rats on saterday and will hopefully be adopting 2 so my number will be down to 10. Just need to find a home for the other 3 girls before I end up deciding to keep them

Congratulations on your new baby boy.

I am not surprised you took him. I think your hubby will understand but I think you should pretens there is just 4 for a while. I bet you can keep that up for days

Any good tips for introductions. I have many single bloke mates needing a girlfriend I think they have too many toys
