toys

could anyone perhaps suggest or show me pictures of toys i can make for my mice out of stuff id find around the home ?

ive already discovered the wonders of toilet rolls lol

but maybe food boxes or other stuff

another question.. are mice ok with material or will they eat it lol

iv made a few more, but dont have any pictures

and as far as im aware, material is fine for mice, however if they do start chewing it, you are best to remove it

I use an old shrug (the little cardigan thing) and tied that across the cage to create a bridge/hammock thing, the mice run across it and sleep inside it as the sides curl in.

I also took an old racerback vest, folded it in half and tied all 4 corners to the top of the cage. And then used a peg to hold the middle together. The mice then have a hammock with lots of levels and entrances....this is the best thing I've done for them coz they are in it ALL the time

A wine rack makes a great climbing frame and old dressing gown cords make great bridges!

Wish Oliver would play with toys

He doesn't like climbing, so it limits his toys he also Hates hammocks etc he's a digger mouse instead!

ha those popsicle toys are pretty amazing, was going to use it as an excuse to eat lollys but youre going to be a party pooper and tell me you brought them in a pack :P

and im trying to think of using material on a smaller scale because i put her down on my bed the other day and she decided to climb through my cardigan.. i like the hammock idea though

i would end up absolutly massive if i ate that many lollies hahaha
Ii bought a pack of 1000 for under a fiver, makes for plenty of cheep toys
