Re: is this suitable for mice and gerbils
Use to find that some rodent mixes contain sun flower seeds which G-pigs love but they can become a bit over weight on them. Also my g-pig use to get them wedged on his front teeth id have to remove them so i stopped giving them

Re: is this suitable for mice and gerbils
It does look very suitable for gerbils - maybe a tiny bit higher in protein than the ideal but very good overall. You could mix in some wild bird seed mix and some porridge oats (not the instant kind, the kind you have to soak and cook) and that would make the balance a bit better, but in all honesty it's not that far off the mark anyway. If you are going to add bird seed though you should pop it in the freezer for a couple of hours before you mix it in. Food that isn't human grade sometimes has insect eggs in it :-S so you'd want to kill them off before you use the food. Unless you actually WANT maggots in there, that is
![]() As for mice or guinea pigs well that isn't my department, I couldn't give any advice but the others seem to have covered that already ![]()
