Thanks for all your help. We called the new girl Batfink cause of the ears. We had her for 8 days introducing them slowly. Unfortunately yesterday afternoon she didnt get up. She had got up for breakfast and was running around to see Jarhead the day before. When she surfaced her eyes were shut and she couldnt get up and was breathing heavily. We rushed her to the vets and she couldn't stand. The vet said if we didnt put her down she would die within hours as she was too far gone. So we had to.

We dont know what caused it the Vet siad it could be an ibfection or something genetic. There was such promise for her and Jarhead they both wanted to be friends. We were all happy.

Jarhead doesnt know shes not coming back so is better than before but bored sometimes. We are too upset amd dontknow what to do now.

Thanks. Dont know what to do now. Jarhead has a lot of quality time though. We let him out in the bathroom as no wires to chew.

He learnt he could jump on the sand pit cage to get to batfink on the toilet. Today I had to get out of the bath to get him down. Naughty cute. Do you let yours run in the inside of your dressing gown and play with hazelnuts in shells.
