Magishmagoo is on a distinguished road
Tooth ache

My pet rat somehow caught her top teeth in the bars of her cage and now the top right tooth is terribly out of place. She doesn't indicate that she is in any kind of pain and still chomps away at anything I feed her. She simply looks like a rat hillbilly with a huge gap between her top front teeth.
Will her teeth grow back together or is this going to be a problem for her?

Re: Tooth ache

Rats can move their front teeth apart. They often do this when they bite aggresively and want to cause the maximum damage to the rat they're fighting. In your case I think it would be wise to pop her along to the vet to make sure she hasn't damaged anything, which could easily of happened.

They may trim her teeth to make sure they don't over grow while the damaged one heals, but she might need them trimming for the rest of her life if they won't grow straight.
