Rat treats

I know you can buy rat treats from pet shops but want to know what other rat owners give their rats as treats.

Re: Rat treats

Ah thanx. I have always been a bit wary when giving them treats.

Re: Rat treats

Mine get loads

yesterday it was yoghurt, pasta, tuna, strawberry tops, spring onion cut offs.

today a piece of brown bread, red pepper, boiled egg

They love shepards pie, spag bol, pasta bakes (only have a small amount)

I rarely throw food away it either goes to the rats or dogs or both!

Oh and they adore Prawn crackers

Re: Rat treats

mine love the occasional pumpkin seed as a treat. to be honest I think they regard anything above their normal rations as a treat and very rarely turn anything down
