Encouraging hamster to chew

Been watching herself closely the last few days and iv noticed she doesn't chew as much as she used to. There's loads of chewing material in there of different kinds, cardboard & wood then there's the plastic and wire. From what I can see of her teeth they don't look overgrown but I'd like to see her chewing something to keep them worn down. Is there anything I can smear on the wood or cardboard to encourage her to chew? Butter perhaps or peanut butter?
