My Newest Bubbas

well, now everyone is safe, (long story! ill say shortly) i can now introduce you to my 4 newest additions

those of you who know me well, will know iv been wanting robos for absolutly ages, but they hadly ever come into rescue here, and i refuse to support to pet shop trade!!

any way iv been ringing round for ages trying to find a rescue with them in, any way yesterday i rang a couple of PAH too see if they had any in their adoption, i rang barnsley first, and the woman shouted and asked some one if they had any, got the answer of no, so i rang sheffield, she actually went and checked, and came back and said they only had a "russian" any way we decided to go check out barnsley anyway as we havent been in a PAH in years lol, got there, had a look at all the fluffs (was disgusted to see they were selling a 3 week old syrian who barely looked older then 3 weeks!)
went to check out the adoption..... the ONLY animals in the adoption, was a group of 4 robos....... :-/

any way i decided to get them, and while the idiot woman was trying to catch them, she DROPPED one in a huge jug FULL of water that was under the tank
they also put them all in seperate boxes, ugh

any way, i got home and put them in a small tank together while i sorted their cage out, and snapped a few shots, you can see the one that got wet, i dried her off loads before taking these pics

this is the wet one

one of the others

wet ones head lol

their cage, i hadnt finished setting it up, i need to get some new wheels, realised i didnt have any dwarf wheels when i got home, and i cant fit 4 karlie wheels in, so i will be buying some new smaller wheels soon, they should be ok with 2 wheels for now, i have also added a couple more houses

as soon as i took that picture though, one of them dashed over the edge, and went missing, i trashed my room looking for the monster, set a bucket trap and a humane mouse trap nothing, caught sight of her under my bed, tried to catch her, she dashed under bubble and squeeks cage, and i lost her, i was looking for ages, i then left the traps for a couple of hours too see if they would work, nothing

in the very early hours of the morning, i found her, she was still under the nilla cage, i managed to catch her using a long length of tubes (about 8 of the IMAC fantasy ones) and popping one end on the floor near her, as soon as her curiosity got the best of her, and she had all 4 feet just inside, i tipped it, and took advantahe of the fact robos cant climb steep tubes, and i had my girlie caught safe and sound, at 4am! after around 10 hours of freedom!

i then had to pop her back in the small tank while i sorted my room so i could GET to the cage (my room was a mess i had EVERYTHING out)

i then popped them all in the small cage for an hour or so, to make sure their bond wasnt damaged, before moving them all back into their cage, while i finished finding my bed, at half 6, i was able to crawl into bed for an hour or so

Re: My Newest Bubbas

EEEK, they are so adorable! I got my 3 from PAH adoption bit and thankfully, the women loading them into the box sexed them right and put them in the same box (well done PAH!)

Love the 'robo pyramid' pic

Now the fun part of IDing them all, they all look like clones which is unfortunate for you! x

Awww they are gorgeous, well done on adopting them, and on catching the escapee, my heart was in my mouth reading that.

i can already tell them appart

theres one pale one, one slightly darker, then theres 2 that are very similar, one has holes in both her ears though (that was the one that got soaked!) and the others ears are intact (she was the one who escaped!)

Re: My Newest Bubbas

Fantastic.. Sounds like you had quite an adventure on your hands..

MM and sounds like the one who escaped and went swimming within 24 hours needs you to keep eyes on all the time.. I predict some right funny stories of you and your Robo's ..
