Unhappy :(

Intros between Gizmo and my 2 babies have been going well, however i'm having major problems with Chewie. He's always been dominant with Gizmo, always pinning him down and stuff and he's the same with the babies, he's become incredibly aggressive towards me and my OH as well. He's never bitten me before and today he bit me twice and tried many more times
I'm planning on getting him castrated as soon as possible, but I'm unsure about what to do until then. Should i put Gizmo in with the babies as they're getting on okay, or should I leave him with Chewie until he's castrated then start the intros again?
I don't really want Chewie to be on his own but he's turning into a massive bully and I don't want to risk Gizmo getting hurt:/

Re: :(

So who is he with at the mo? As in who is he actually bonded to?
Has there been any blood drawn with fighting or is it just dominant behaviour?

Sorry don't know if you have answered these quesions before but your answers will tell me what I would do lol

Re: :(

Chewie is bonded with Gizmo, but he's always been dominant over him. Gizmo seems scared of him though which is why i'm wondering whether to leave gizmo with the babies and have chewie on his own until he's castrated (Which i'm calling the vets tomorrow about, so he'll only really be on his own while he's recovering from his op)
There hasn't been blood drawn, it's just how scared of him Gizmo seems that worrys me

Hmm it is a tough one really, I much prefer to intro with pairs cos then they have a friend to rely on.
If it isn't going to be too long and Gizmo is definitely not happy so long as Chewie can still see and smell the others I would be tempted to leave him on his own until he is recovered enough to start intro'ing again

Re: :(

The cages are next to each other so they'll still be able to interact through the bars.
Gizmo's in with the babies now and he's definitely a lot calmer already. I'll just have to give Chewie twice as much attention for a few days lol
Thanks for your help
