Mimi's Spay
Well, she had her lumpectomy and spay today. I was so nervous for her I couldn't keep still! Ended up cleaning the house top to bottom! But she's home, and she's fine, and unfortunately has a teeny tiny cone of shame!
She has two incisions, half her body is shaved, poor thing! But she was good as gold in the vets, no one was bitten thank goodness! Anyway, here's pics of the poor pud:

aw never seen a rat having to wear one of the cones before. she doesnt look to pleased about it. hope she is on the mend

 She's looking soooo agitated, poor thing. It's better than having her pop her stitches I suppose. She's going back for a checkup on Friday so they might take it off her then Going to be keeping her doped up on Metacam for a few days lol

Glad her spay went well
I'd take the cone off and keep her on pain killers. If she starts chewing her stitches then you can wrap her body with vet wrap to keep her off of them. I find they get horribly stressed with a cone.

Cone came off today
Her incisions look great, the vet wasn't worried in the slightest and she hasn't stopped grooming herself
