Re: just come back

i cant explain it. I'm goin to contact the place I got them from and tell them that Ive had to take them to the vets. The care fresh stuff isnt too bad at all and it doesnt smell. My hubby has got a very sensitive nose and if theys a smell in the air he wud smell it.

Re: just come back

Carefresh...as someone else said...is not dangerous but a little dusty AND expensive. People are trying to save you money. PLus if a rat is sneezing...in the interest of the rat...the bedding is the FIRST thing that I would change.

Also you need to find a exotics/rodent vet cos most...yours included (seemingly)...do not understand/know how to treat SMALL rodents espeecially

Re: just come back

A drop? Is that a measured drop? Orally or in water? Yes although carefresh may not smell, it is dusty. Imagine having an itchy irritated nose, then sniffing along they top of your bookcase Did the pet shop have them on sawdust? If so, you should be covered under your health guarantee for the vet fees, as the problem is more than likely their fault! (unless they didnt give you health cover? ) xx

Re: just come back

Yeah weve got to suck abit up in a syringe then just give her a drop of it. We haven got any book cases for them for walk along, when we get them out they go in a run which my husband made in the living room with toys, food and drink in.

The shop had them on either saw dust or chippettes. They didnt give me any health cover at all, the bloke didnt even say about it. A girl who I added on facebook yesterday gets her rats from the same place and shes had no problems with hers at all.

Re: just come back

Well I wouldn't go back there if I was you.

And the bookcase thing....was trying to put it into perspective for you. Give up.
