Just got some care fresh for them. I spoke to a lad at p@h and he uses it so gunna give it a go.

I use carefresh for my hamster (and have been using it with hamsters for just over 2 years now) and have never had any problem with not freezing or microwaving it. Never had any problem with mites. My only gripe with it is how expensive it is.

I have never heard of any of these other brands people are mentioning like megazorb, finacard or ecopetbed. Are they actually specifically small animal bedding or horse bedding? Would be interested in trying something a bit cheaper but don't want to buy a huge bag of it as I only have 1 cage (although it would be a good excuse for adding to the family ).

Lol my 2 seemed ok when I changed it this morning. Goin to fone vets in the morning tho as my rat has started making funny noises. And cos it's been a while since I had them im abit worried.
