Misty has diarrhoea?

Today Misty's (my Gerbil) poo has turned to a lighter colour, and is much softer. Though, she still seems to be her normal self - Eating, drinking, running around, etc.

She's had a mixture of Petshop food and Pets at Home food, though both are similar.

Could this small change have affected her?

(Mindy seems fine.)

She also seems to favour the Sunflower seeds - Would these have any effect aswell?

Re: Misty has diarrhoea?

Aah, thank you.

I'll strip the food bowl completely of them for now.

Re: Misty has diarrhoea?

I am no expert in Gerbils, more into hamsters, but what I would do if I have more than one hamster and one of them has diarrhea is to separate them for a little while so not to infect the other one... not 100% sure but u might want to check from an expert if that is necessary.

Wish Misty a speedy recovery
