fighting

hi so i am in need of some help 2 of my female rats are being bullied by my 3 others they wont leave them alone they have lived together for 6 months without any problem one of my rats has a cut above her eye and the other one one her side any ideas thanks

Mabe separating the two bullied rats might be the best thing to do. And a trip to the vet with the injured ones.

there cuts are only smll they have been cleaned and look ok i didnt really want to separate them plus i dont think my dad will tolarate another cage and dont really want to rehome them

i dont see most of the time just here lots of screeching i did see one of them pinned up against the side of the cage biting her neck but i stopped her in time to bite i wasnt worried until they started drawing blood

Once they've drawn blood you are supposed to seperate them

If they where only tiny scratches I wouldn't separate. Unless it became a frequent occurrence, or got more serious.

Do they they seem to fight more when they are being fed etc?

its happening a ouple of time a day now i have had to separate them which is something i didnt want to do plus cant afford a daeent sized age atm so there in a small cage
