Aww hon I'm sorry

My mum hates rodents with long tails too, thats why she only let me have hamsters when I was a kid. I just don't understand why people hate their tails so much

With the gerbils it was 'no they have tails' and I explained that she wouldn't have anything to do with them. Went into a pet shop with dad and he said I could get some (he doesn't even live in here ) and of course mum had nothing to do with them for a few months. Even when I was in bed ill she refused to feed them because the tails freaked her out.. Well one day it all changed and now she loves them and feeds them treats of chicken etc.

Dad keeps saying to her 'those poor wee rats' But I doubt she will say yes. Maybe if they had hairy tails! Just a shame it's 6 of them because I really don't imagine many people would want to take that all on..
