........... 3 of my Degu's have passed away

Now I knew my time with them was limited, due to the fact that they were bred from petshop degu's (I still have mum, she is blind due to cateracts and has fits which the vet believes is nerological and has probably been passed onto the pups, so she told me to be prepared)

I so wasn't expecting it this soon, there isn't a mark on them so not a fight that got out of hand......
I have just got off the phone to the vet and she has agreed to do a necrospy, so I can find out if there is anything I can do to help the others....

I am gutted, they looked like they suffered if you get me

Im a tad confused here.. 3 died.. no evidence of a fight? how can 3 just die?

And they look like they suffered?

So sorry, sounds as though they never had much of a chance due to their background. At last they knew some love and care with you. I hate pet shops

I have no idea about Degus. Are they in with Mum? Could she have killed them? xx

As I said, they have neurological problems (I originally saved mum and her sisters from a byb/hoarder)

When I say they look like they suffered, I mean by the look on their face. As in they didn't go peacfully.
Once I get the necropsy results back I will know for certain..

No, Mum and sister are together, and 5 pups are together. No evidence of fighting so I don't think it was anything to do with a fallout

(When I say pups, they are about 7/8 months old now)

Thats real sad i hope the others are ok..

I mean the chances of three passing at the same time must be very slim..
