Something I've always wondered about my gerbils is why 3 of them are small.

I got my 3 first from a pet shop and my neighour saw them so of course had to get 3 for her 6 month old She soon got bored of them and fed them 'when she could be bothered' so of course I end up with them after a few weeks. They are all from the same breeder but these 3 are loads smaller.

Mine on the other hand have been fed daily since I got them and fed some veggies every few days. Mine are like degus compared to the other 3! So is it just a case of mine have had better treatment so grown bigger? Always puzzled me the difference in size
