Re: I'm so sorry little one..

You DIDN'T fail him - it was an accident - a very sad one but one of those things.

You must be heartbroken.

*hug*

Re: I'm so sorry little one..

please don't blame yourself - there's nothing you could have done to prevent it without being psychic!

I was just posting in another thread about a Parrot we had who we lost too early due to an accident - the dog jumped up at his cage and grabbed him by the beak and tried to pull him through the bars of the cage. There was no visible damage except a small bit of blood on his nose so we didn't know the extent of the injury and the vet refused to see him as he said the car journey may cause him to go into shock and die, so just gave us some liquid food and a syringe to feed him with to see if it was just bruising/swelling that was preventing him from being able to eat solids. Unfortunately the damage must have been fairly major and he died a few days later after putting up a very big fight to stay with us.

I always blame myself to an extent and always think of the "what ifs" but there is no point on dwelling on it because it won't bring them back

RIP Mini Milo xxx
