Help me spice up the cage :)

Had my 2 girl's for about 4 month's now, always had the Jenny cage, great cage.
Im just looking for a few things i can do with it/things i can add to it.

As you can see in the picture they no longer have that long tube going from one level to another, the chain snapped through rust or them chewing it.

I was thinking take the tube out, replace with another hammock going all across the top?

Can you guys think of anything else??
Thank u x

Re: Jenny cage idea's

Cheap and interesting ideas are upside down childrens stools attached to the roof of the cage with cable ties (you need to drill holes in the feet of the stool), also Ive been making a little cave recently with a hanging basket and some old tea towels (looks a bit rubbish but they love it), it can be hung or put on the base of the cage, hanging plastic peg baskets are great and you can never have too many hammocks, I like to use hammocks folded over on the side of the cage as little pouches. Cable ties are great for hanging things or tying them to the side of the cage and you can probably replace the chain for the tube from B&Q or put it on the floor of the cage as a little hideaway. I also put a cheap box of tissues in the cage when I clean it out and they love to pull them out and make a nest and play with the empty box.

Re: Jenny cage idea's

Just wondering if its worth getting a wheel for them?
Their 6 month's old now and never used one so will they even bother with it?

Re: Jenny cage idea's

I got mine a silent spinner and they're never off it! Even my older ones gave it a go - Don't know what my girls would be up to without it!

Re: Jenny cage idea's

Im not sure if they will learn but when I put one in Cookies cage when I first got her she learned in a few days, she was a pets at home adoption so its highly unlikely that she would ever have seen one before.

Re: Jenny cage idea's

It's a wheel for them to run in, it's solid plastic so nothing to get toes or tails caught in. It's pretty quiet too!
You can order them online...they're expensive but so worth it, and you could always sell it on if they don't take to it after a while
