Our guinea pig is outside in his hutch...will i be ok to bring him in at night time this weekend whilst the fireworks are going off...i will put him in a indoor cage in the spare room and knock the heating off in there...i was pretty confident about doing this early on in the week.. but have been told that he can overheat ????

the fireworks will scare him so i personally would bring him in, but put him in a room with low/no heating on so he doesnt overheat but is out of the way of any loud bangs x

I know he does bless him,. His friend died a while back.. But not sure as I would think he is getting on in years now as we got them off the RSPCA about three years ago and they were adults then ... I suppose I could keep my eye open for a older female to keep him company

How about long-term fostering from a rescue? That way when your original piggie passes on, you're not stuck in a forever chain of pig-after-pig?
