Dwarf Hamster Noises?

well I've had my chinese dwarf called noodle for around a month and Ive noticed when i pick him up I can hear a sort of chattering noise like a very soft squeaking. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it means, I mean he doesnt seem sick in anyway, hes very active, light on his feet, bright eyed, alert and he clambers all over me when I let him out, so any ideas will be helpful.

Re: Dwarf Hamster Noises?

if the clicking just sounds like us clicking our tongue then it is likely to just be grinding his teeth, my current hamster does it and i've taught it him a way of communicating. Nothing to worry about
If there is a squeek with it then it will be a good idea to let him run around you for a while (sitting in the bath is best as he can't escape) but i used to put mine on my bed which worked
