"Have they been fed at all???" "I gave them a ginger biscuit"
 Are you actually kidding me. I went away this weekend, so second time my family have been left with looking after the gerbils and first time with hammy. I moved them downstairs so they wouldn't be forgotten and told them all that had to do was change the food and top up the water. Apparentley there was always food in the bowl so they didn't bother feeding them, and there was water in the holder so they didn't change that. WOULD YOU EAT 3DAY OLD FOOD THAT YOU OBVIOUSLY DIDN'T EVEN LIKE IN THE FIRST PLACE WHICH IS WHY YOU LEFT IT.  Oh yeah, and the ginger biscuit thing. That's fine, I don't mind having fat diabetic rodents. I am going away this weekend as well and I think I might ship them off to my friends house. So angry right now. I am moving to uni next september and I really hope I can rodent train my family by then.

Oh dear hun not good!! Yeah think you will need to write out a step by step list next time. As long as you're sure it wasn't simply laziness...cos then you would need a new pet-sitter! But sounds like it was just ignorance! Sorry you and your gerbils have suffered though! xx

I can't tell if it was ignorance or laziness... we shall see how they do this weekend
Me and my hammy had a bonding session, he looks rather grumpy though  The gerbils are super easy as always, may get them out for cuddles later.
