Thumbs down Scary hamster

Got Sandy out for playtime. She was doing her usual ramble into and out of my dressing gown, when she suddenly turned into vicious monster hammie. There was growling and clawing and biting galore . She's now innocently playing in her cage whilst I'm sitting in a pee stained pyjamas top wondering what all the fuss was about. I'm guessing something scared her, or she couldn't find her way out one of the sleeves, she's usually such a friendly girl . Think I'll have to go find some sunflower treats for her.

They don't normally, only when something is really upsetting them. I found her a big banana chip to say sorry and she took it out of my fingers OK.

Re: Scary hamster

I had something like this the other day, I thought Travis had got an electic shock! He suddenley was growling and jumping all over the place nashing his teeth. Scared me to death.
