Chinese Dwarfs?

ok well just bought a little chinese dwarf hes called noodle
I have some experience with dwarfs, I currently also own a russian hes a lil cutie, but I was wondering what sort of temperament chinese have, as I've heard alot of conflicting info on them, are the calm, do they bite, are they aggressive? I just want someone thats had them to tell me about their experiences with them.

Mine was agressive. He was a disabled older rescue though and he hadn't been treated kindly by humans before. I just left him to it in a nice big cage to live out his days.

I've got a chinese dwarf hamster, called Coco, who's down at my parents house. He's a sweet docile little thing, but is extremely shy and not particularly keen on being picked up. Takes forever to catch him, but once you've got him he's fine with being handled. he likes to cuddle in the crook of your arm and go to sleep. He also does this adorable thing of trying to curl his tail around your finger.

Never had any issues with him in terms of biting or aggressive, though he can nip if you've handled food recently. think he's testing to see whether you're edible or not! I can't say for others, but we've had ours coming up to 2 years and he's been fine. Only thing to watch though is that they're extremely quick.

Re: Chinese Dwarfs?

Im not too worried about him being mistreated, I got him from pets at home, and when one of the staff got him out he ran really fast but was completely still when handled, no nipping or anything, and I stroked him today while i changed his bedding, lol so rediculously still XD
I just hope he'll get used to me and not become aggresive, lol thats why i got a boy because I hear the girls can get very mean as they get older.
I wish there was more info on them, but i heard their quite rare, at P@H there was only 4, the first 4 I'd ever seen in there, or anywhere. Im so lucky to get one

P.S I think hes quite young, he's not filled out yet hes probably about 7cm, any idea of an age? I'll take a pic in a few days when hes a little more settled
