Re: Is this ok for 4 Rats?

I reckon it'd be ok for 4 rats but you'd have to mesh the bars as I reckon young ones and small females would be able to get through.

Re: Is this ok for 4 Rats?

Yeah that's a nice size cage for four rats. The only thing, going by the picture, it doesn't look that easy to clean. As you know rats need to be cleaned regularly to keep the smell down. It's a shame other people don't go to the same trouble you have.

Rats are a very under estimated pet. They are by far the best pet rodent you can get.

Re: Is this ok for 4 Rats?

Yes but this is a cage to house rats instead of allowing any free ranging time.

If i'm totally honest hun....this is a massive part of rats' upkeep and if you can't provide it then really you shouldn't have got them.

I don't see why this is an issue. As long as the OP can provide for 2 more rats, what's the problem?

I think this is a good sized cage for 4 rats. And letting them out for 20-30 minutes each night supervised is fine.

The op has failed to provide any free range time for majority of 3 months for the two they have. I find mine are so curious and play till the end...and thats usually 3-5 hours

And Argent... Any help for my Rats?
