What about cable covers? Summit like this maybe?

Or unplugging the cables whilst the girls are out.......

I would seriously reconsider getting more rats until you are in a better situation, my girls would go mad if they only got 20 mins a day
What sort of toys do you have for your rats? My girls love their wheel and tunnels (although my boys just snuggle up on my lap and fall asleep )

Re: Is this ok for 4 Rats?

I share a house with 3 other lads, they will not want the Rats in the bathroom, only thing i can think is block off all around and under the sofa's so they cnt get behind there to chew the cables, and if they cant get behind the sofa's they have alot of floor space and the top if their cage to run around.

They have a PS2 game cover used as a sort of a tent, a house, a glass, a ladder going from 1 side to the other and a few plastic small boxes, there all in 1 corner so its lile an obstacle course lol
