my rats where born on the 8th of september. now i have read various different sources and they all say different but the range is between 4 - 8 weeks! please help! they are eating solid food and drinking water at the moment but still mugging mummy for milk!

I'd separate the boys from their mother and sisters at 4.5 weeks, as they'll be coming into sexual maturity at that point. The girls will still mug mum for milk but at about 5 weeks + it'll stop. Just make sure they have an extra protein source as they're still growing fast - they'll eat like termites!

they are always getting treats and seem to love wet cat/dog food and bread and milk. they are all boys!! have sexed them about 60 billions times and they are ALL boys!!

ok going to find my other phone (has a better camera) and will do that now!! dont think they wil be very pleased with me but it will give mum another break!

Haha they're like a little swarm at this point aren't they? I felt so sorry for my Lavender til I could separate her four boys, leaving her with her 3 girls. She was swamped >.<

turns out that i have 2 girls! the boys were very obvious!!! and the girls looked just like mummy so i did not need to take pics in the end!

Haha fantastic! Good to know they're showing so obviously And now mummy won't be on her own!
