Question Can indoor Piggies be moved outside?

I certainly wouldn't consider it at the moment with winter coming up but I was just wandering if guinea pigs who have always been indoors could be moved to a hutch outside? Do they adapt easily or is it better to keep them indoors as they are used to it.
