now that i've seen a pic of the tiny syrian. She looks normal to me. The reason she's so small is probably down to age. She certainly looks not much older than 8 weeks. So i'm guessing that she'll probably grow much bigger as the months go on

Aw they are so cute! I agree with Chris the gerbile guy (LOL), she just looks a young hamster, I don't think she has retarded growth, which is good news! All so cute
