Syrian hamster babies need free cages
Hi everyone! I've bought a syrian hamster in a pet shop and 7 days later she had 9 pups. I managed to find new home for 4 of these, (they'll be ready to go in 2 weeks) and rather then give the rest to the pet shop (the owner is a horrid man with no knowledge about hammies) we have decided to keep them. But the problem is, I can't afford that many cages! I've been given one on freecycle and I've bough two more. I've considered to make one out of the storage boxes but I'm not very good at DIY. does anyone have any idea about a good place to get a free one or any bargains? I live in finchley, North London.

Re: Syrian hamster babies need free cages
You could always try Ebay, I know tons of people that get decent sized cages really cheap on there.
Or try gumtree, I just got a Savic Cambridge for £10. Or maybe if you cant afford cages then you could possibly rehome the hamsters, that's what I'd do if I couldn't afford cages for what I had.
