Brandys 4 baby guinea-pigs born 19/8/08

My gorgeous guinea-pig Brandy has had a lovely litter of 4 pups.
Although both parents are Abys I'm not entirely sure whether the babies are Abys or smooth haired.

Whatever they turn out to be they are scrummy!

They are absolutely GORGEOUS! 4 is a really good number, my female Abby had 2.

Babies popping out all over the place lately eh? First guinea pigs, then hairless rats, and now my gerbils.

Those babies are just adorable. I didn't realise they were born fully furred but then when you think about it it makes sense - they're mountain animals from a tough climate and they have a long gestation compared to most rodents.

Congratulations!
