Exclamation help with dumbo rats!!!

HI Guys!
I've got a small problem on my hands in the form of my two male dumbo rats squabbling an awful lot!!
they are brothers, and ive had them now for four months (both our now 6 months old) and this has been on going for a little while
it seems the smaller and less sociable of the two (Jimi) is bullying the other one (Twink).. sometimes they play together and it gets a little out of hand, or the grooming gets a bit aggresive.
although I have witnessed Twink put Jimi on his back a few times, he keeps appearing with bloody nose, and some marks on his ears.
Its all the squeaking that gets me, they seem to get on perfectly fine, and curl up together and everything.
any ideas how i can sort this little would be feud out? Or will it stop with age?
ive never had two male rats sharing before, ive always had mixed pairs, and they didnt get aggresive towards each other!

Re: help with dumbo rats!!!

Boys can get pretty boisterous with their playing. They don't get bloody noses, it's porphyrin staining, a sign of stress, and they can get it from their eyes too.

My dumbo boys, well one in particular has a thing for biting ears strangely enough but he's never had to be separated - he doesn't seem to do it out of spite, it's just...if Hugo's sat next to him, he'll slowly lean over and latch onto his ear XD

At 6 months their hormones kickstart so that could be why they're appearing to be more aggressive than playful now.
The squeaking could be sounds of them having fun tbh, mine squeak a lot when playing.

aw ok thanks, I didnt want to end up having to seperate them. They do get along really well and are happy to share the space, its just now and then it gets out of hand, i suppose as they get older there wont be so much of a problem..
