our first reptile - 11 month old leopard gecko
My husband has wanted a leopard gecko for quite some time and after nagging at me i finally said ok. I was quite frightened of him at first but now getting used to him lol
here is a pictureof him. not the best as taken on my phone though

that is a lovely pic of your gecko we had 2 leopard geckos a while ago now they are very interesting but we couldnt handle ours

He is very tame. first time we held him he was rather quick and difficult to hold but now can pick him up easily and my son likes to walk about with him on his shoulder. Not handling him at the mo though as hes just started to shed his skin so hes resting in his hide

hi we had a leo she was great and would walk all over you. I use to love watching them stalk there crickets , mine use to eat around 6 every other night. She had a lovely fat tail. Its where they store fat. There great little lizards.

I was thinking our gecko's tail didnt look particually fat. weve only had him just over a week and hes eating well. so not sure why his tail looks thin. he was like this when we bought him and was told he was ok. all the others where like it too. he was bought from a reptile specialist shop and they seemed to know what they were talking about and made sure we had the tank set up properly etc before they let us buy him

He's a wee little thing! You sure he's 11 months and not 11 weeks? His tail looks about right for a baby leopard gecko.
