Bird Watching with Amy!

Amy loves to sit on the back of the chair in my conservatory and look out of the window! Looks like she's bird watching, bless her! She is just so cute!

Where's those birdies, then?

Look! There's one!

Yeah, I did notice her belly, lol! I think it was just the way she was stood. I think female chams have a lovely shape! Can't see or feel anything that resembles eggs yet - she has a laying tub in her cage that she shows no interest in whatsoever! I thought my first cham was silly tame, and it seems that Amy is going to be even better! She nearly fell out the door of her cage today in her rush to greet me when I got in from work, lol! Love her to bits! Thanks for looking out for us - you'll probably see that she's gravid before I do since I love posting loads of pics!

Re: Bird Watching with Amy!

ahhh well shes prob not carrying eggs then id just keep an extra close eye on her because sometimes chams wont lay in tubs that are in their cage, my old female had to be taken out of her cage and put directly into a laying tub and made sure she cudnt escape(which she tried to alot lol) and then she laid her eggs, but she took no notice of the laying tub in her cage. When shes constantly restless but hasnt attempted to go down to her laying tub thats when id put her in a laying tub. Glad to hear shes really tame alot of yemens get a bad name for bein aggressive but if u put the time into handling them when theyre young without stressing them too much then theyre lovely to handle.
