This is just a memorial to my wonderful dog Casper who passed away 28th April 09 aged 12.
He was a GSxBC and was a rescue dog. I got him aged 5 and he was my shadow, my best friend and a wonderful, wonderful companion.

My son also adored him and grew up with him from the age of 3 and worshipped him so much.

I woke up on the 28th to find Casper on the living room floor-not on his bed as normal (or the sofa if I snuck down quietly enough ) at first I thought he was still asleep but when I got closer I realised he was awake but not moving.
I tried to coax him up but nothing worked-he couldnt even move his tail. I immedately called the vets who said bring him in in 30 mins and I called my friend to come round to drive us there-I dont drive. She arrived within 5 mins and we carefully got him on his bed and began collecting things to take when my son screamed he has died. He passed away with jordy stroking his head telling him he loved him.
In the space of 20 mins from finding him he had passed away The vet believes it was a stroke that killed him.

Leaving him at the vets broke my heart in 2 and I couldnt believe my baby was gone. I have his ashes in a beautiful casket in the living room and even now I cant believe he has gone.

I have the most special memories of a kind hearted soul and miss him every day-I still now hate walking in the house and not hearing him bark excitidly when I got in from work.

Aww! im so sorry, i know how it feels loosing close loved ones, we found our 1year old cat on the side of the road dead on 17th of october

I too broke my heart when Mitsy died.....it is so hard. My dadughter grew up with her, and you know something, i could trust her 100 percent.

I could trust that dog with my life 100% FAR more than I could ever trust another human.
I was truely blessed when I found him and I miss our chats we had-he would sit there and rest his head on my lap and roll his eyes at me and just listen.

I am also happy (thats the wrong word really) he went at home with jord stroking him rather than in the car or at the vets. He went in his home, on his bed with love. Gosh I need to stop now as Im off to work in a minute and crying. xxx

Yes i understand, Mitsy was the same....although i have had dogs and love them all dearly....mitsy was one in a million iykwim. Like Casper.
Mitsy too went at home, i had to have her put to sleep......she wnet in my arms, with me thanking her and telling her i loved her.....god it was hard.

Amazing dog, i was blessed too.......choked up too xxxx ((())).
Who knows, maybe mitsy and casper have meet up - she never had a boyfreind

Thats so sad when its so sudden. In the last 2 years i've lost, 1 dog, 3 rabbits and a hamster, time will heal you.
