unforgetable SPOT

Hi,

I would like to give this opportunity in loving memory to my wonderful dog named SPOT.. He died in 1987.. My wonderful father brought him in our home in 1970, same year my youngest brother was born.. Spot was just a puppy and he is so cute.. a mix breed and he grew up so big just like a medium size St. Bernard.. He barks if he doesn't know our visitor but he doesn't bite.. even when you accidentally stepped on his tail..
I love him very much..

I named him after the dog in my Reading book in kindergarten.. The "John, Jean, Judy and Spot reading book.. That's how I remember the book..

Thank you Spot for making my childhood memorable and wonderful because you are the first one that made realize that creatures like you are important in our lives..

Up to now, I could still remember your face..

Re: unforgetable SPOT

Hi there, Ahhh bless him , I had a spaniel ,Fredfor my 7th birthday.Although he was bought for me he was a family pet and spoilt rotten by my mum, that was in the mid 60's, and i was 22 when he died, i often think of him , like you he made my chilhood a happier time and you never forget them, and my children have never forgot their first dog Snoopy, who we had for 14 years, she was a mixed breed too and very sweet.
Do you have any pets now ?

Re: unforgetable SPOT

Isn't it amazing how you never forget the faces you grew up with. I always found having pets so amazing and special when I was younger, one in particular Ringo who my mum had had since before I was born and he passed away when I was 15. I will never forget him. Do you have pictures of spot around your house ? I am lucky enough to have loads of my lovely boy Ringo, so I always feel like he is around me and looking after me like he did when he was still in this world but I still miss him so much and often cry ! Hope you are having fun over the rainbow bridge Spot and Ringo !
