Sleep tight little Trap

My daughter just found little trap, she must have passed on last night, she is devastated, she was ill from the day we got her and despite countless doses of medecine and trips to the vet she was never going to be a healthy mouse, but she ate and played and enjoyed her little life and she was a definate favourite with the other mice. Because of her medication she has been handled more than most mice so she was ultra friendly and would sit for hours just being stroked and held. Trap we only had you for 10 months but you were very very loved and will be very missed. Night night and have fun at the bridge sweetheart.

Re: Sleep tight little Trap

I was just working out how old Trap was and I was shocked, I thought she was 10 months old but she is nearly 21 months old, still not very old for a mouse (I don't think) but I feel a little happier knowing she proved the vets wrong, not bad for a mouse that was only supposed to be reptile food.

I think that that age is good for a mouse, aren't they only supposed to have lifespans of 1.5 yearsish?

Peace

I'm not sure to be honest, I think 2 is a very good age so I suppose 20 months isn't bad especially if you saw where she came from and the fact that she was never a very healthy mouse.
