molly-molly moo

Hi all
I posted on here a few weeks ago as my little puppy 'molly' was biting a lot. Sadly molly got run over last week at 15 weeks old. I feel its completley my fault as i didnt see her when i opened the front door , i actully saw the car run right over her .She was a shitzu so really tiny, she didnt stand a chance. I cant get it out of my head and am constantly crying.
People think it should be easy to get over as we only had her 9 weeks but we all loved that dog so much. I cant even look at pictures of her, if i see people with dogs i start crying. She was my baby girl.
We took her everywhere we went with us.
How do i start looking forward.

Re: molly-molly moo

I'm so sorry about Molly.

It hurts me to even imagine losing my babies, but I have been through it before, as I'm sure many here have.

Don't blame yourself, and, rather than think about the accident, try and remember Molly when she was happy and loved in those 9 short weeks.

I hope she didn't suffer too much, and you mustn't let yourself suffer either.

She is at peace now.

Sending you hugs and lots of symapathy for your little girl.

xx

Re: molly-molly moo

I'm so sorry this has happened, please don't blame yourself, this was just a horrible accident. I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better but unfortunately it will take time before it hurts less. I once had the same thing happen with my kitten Webster and the fact that I had only had him for 10 weeks made it worse because I had expected to have him for years not weeks, so the fact that Molly was only with you for a few weeks just makes loosing her harder. Remember that what you are feeling is natural and you can't move on from this until you let yourself grieve. Run free at the bridge Molly.

Re: molly-molly moo

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Re: molly-molly moo

Thank you for all your kind thoughts and messages.
My last image of molly is her laying on the vets table, and i knew then she had gone. I keep trying to focus on the night before as we had taken her to the beach for the first time and the kids were walking her in front of me and when i shouted her they let her run to me....ears flapping, little legs going as fast as they could and her lead flying behind her, a picture of happiness and very loved dog.
Agility Springer....the post about rainbow bridge describes this exactly, this is what i keep seeing.I am so pleased she will have other dogs to play with.
It is so hard as we dont have that many memories of her, not as many as we should have.
Thank you all again
Joy

RIP molly- molly moo
