Today is 10 years since we lost Snowy. R.I.P
Suddenly dawned on me that today (5th Feb) is the 10 year anniversary since Snowy, our border collie was put to sleep.
He developed a lump on his rear leg and was trying to bite it out for months.
Finally, the decision came to put him to sleep, he was only 11 years old and I suppose that's good but it still felt like he was a child and his death was untimely.
He was such a lovely dog, he never aged, always full of energy and springing around. I was only 16 when he was put to sleep and I grew up with him from when I was only 5 years old.
I am sure he is having fun with the rest of the doggies up in Doggy Heaven, I just wanted a written reminder that I do still think of him and I do still love him, one day we'll be re-united xx
