Princess Cookie

My beautiful, cuddly, funny, loving girl went to the bridge in the early hours of this morning, she was in my arms and it was peaceful. My Cookie was my heart rat, the girl who always came running for a cuddle, even yesterday she ambled over from the hammock for her mummy cuddles, I cant write anything that will do her justice, she really was the most amazing girl, she loved everyone she met and just oozed personality, I cant go to the cage this morning knowing she isnt running to the bars to be first for a cuddle. Her loving sister Valentine is beside herself with grief. So a bit about the Princess, she was born in a rodent farm, and was one of the lucky ones to go to the pet shop and not to the food chain, she was thrown in a tank full of males and didnt sell because she was labelled savage, she ended up in the adoption section alone.... then I saw her and took her home, I found out she wasnt the savage boy I was told but a terrified girl. Her real life started then, from that moment she was my happy, funny, loving girl, she loved her sisters and people but she would light up at the sound of my voice. She had two tumours removed but they came back and I made the decision not to put her through another operation.

This is my favourite picture of Cookie

And one I took last week, even in her deteriorating health she was beautiful.
